Quality Craftsmanship From Start to Finish

Family owned and operated since 1982, our success is built on a reputation for hard work, quality workmanship and integrity.

Andy Jonkman began his career in construction when he was just 16 years old, starting as a carpenter in the days before nail guns and forklifts. In 1982, he founded Andy Jonkman Construction (AJC).

Andy soon earned a reputation for hard work, quality workmanship and integrity. With his wife Jenny managing the office, AJC quickly established itself as framing and roofing specialists, working on everything from custom homes and subdivisions to agricultural, institutional and commercial projects.

The company became the prominent name for carpentry in the local area with notable builds including the Onodaga Tim Hortons camp in St. George, the St. George Fire Hall, and Brantford’s Civic Square.

Quality framing is still the backbone of any well-built home and remains at the heart of every project, with many of the Andy Jonkman Construction team celebrating more than 25 years with the company.

Today, Andy is joined by his sons Ian and Dave, and AJC has evolved into a true design-build firm. In addition, AJC is able to offer in-house design services in Revit – with 3D renderings allowing homeowners to fully-visualize their dream before it comes to life. This combination of hands-on-experience and state-of-the-art expertise means your project will run smoothly from concept to completion, and will be delivered on time and within budget.

Whether you are looking for a custom home, renovation, addition or garage, or an agricultural, commercial build, AJC will work with you from start to finish with the care, attention to detail, and craftsmanship you’ve come to expect.

Our luxury custom home building firm proudly serves the Brantford, Ancaster, Dundas, Hamilton, Cambridge, Glen Morris, St. George, and surrounding areas.
